PSA Guidelines

Air your organization’s events and announcements on our station

Radio Cobleskill 105.9 FM welcomes public service announcements (PSAs) and announcements of community events from local and non-profit organizations and public/government institutions in our listening area.

PSAs must be no more than 30 seconds in length, and must follow the same content guidelines as undewriting and sponsorship mentions, including no calls to action, no pricing or comparative information, and no musical beds or sound effects.

PSAs are aired free of charge for all non-profit, public safety, educational, and government organizations, and must be sent to our station at least one week in advance of your intended start date.

We accept broadcast-quality recordings or can record your organization’s PSA in house. All scripts must be reviewed prior to recording the announcement, and we are able to help your organization prepare a script for your PSA.

Once a PSA is recorded and ready for broadcast, it is scheduled for airtime several times over the course of our broadcast day.
